About the Scale
The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale is one of the most widely used measures of psychopathology of schizophrenia and related disorders. Since it was first published in 1987, it has been used in thousands of studies across a range of conditions, populations, languages, and settings.
About the Training
Training and certification are required for clinicians and raters who will use the PANSS for research, clinical practice, or related applications. Once completed, certification may be renewed every two years. There is no cost to register and take training through this platform.
